Version 1.3 turns Stormbreak Squadron into a ten-operation campaign. TEN OPERATIONS Breakwater is now Operation 01 of 10. Beat its boss and tap NEXT OPERATION to fly straight into the next one. You face tougher enemies, faster bullets, quicker fire and more frequent waves in each operation, all the way to the Stormbreak Citadel. The difficulty you pick holds for the whole campaign. NINE NEW BOSSES The Dune Lancer, Leviathan, Magma Fortress, Phantom Carrier, Tempest Ace, Atlas Dreadnought, Hive Cruiser, Crimson Wing and Storm Core join the Siege Carrier. Each one has its own pixel-art hull, movement and attack patterns. Break its wing guns to expose the core. ONE RUN, ONE SCORE Your lives, score, weapons and armor carry from operation to operation, and Pulse starts each one at full charge. Your personal best updates when the run ends: at game over, after Operation 10, or when you head back to the hangar from a debrief.

Version 1.2 rebuilds the combat. FIGHT BACK Enemies open fire as they fly in, so you dodge before you get the kill. Aimed shots fly fast and spreads drift slow, so you can read each attack by its speed. Enemies toughen up as your weapons level up. FROM EVERY SIDE Later waves sweep in from the left and right edges, and fighters climb up from below the screen. Chevrons flash over their lane before they launch. A REAL BOSS FIGHT The Siege Carrier's wing guns fire aimed lines, and the last gun standing fires faster. Break both and the core pushes forward, swings wider and alternates a slow bullet ring with fast aimed bursts. Its armor scales with your firepower, so it holds up even against a full loadout. SCORE FOR NERVE Kill an enemy the moment it arrives and its kill bonus pays up to five times, fading over three seconds. Ground turrets leave gold medals worth 200 points. Win the mission and the stage bonus pays 1,000 per medal, tripled if you never used Pulse and doubled after one, plus 500 for every life left. LOOKS THE PART Aircraft cast shadows, and ground turrets stay on the ground, so you can fly over them. Turrets turn to track you and leave burning wrecks behind. Enemies flash white when your shots land, and the laser fires as one bright beam that curves as you move.
