Plan the drive, and Syncopath builds its soundtrack. Paste a Maps link or load a route for music timed to the whole trip and matched to every climb and curve. Fill the stick. Score the drive. Syncopath rotates a big music library onto a USB stick, so the car never gets stuck on the same nine albums. Give it the route you have planned, and it builds a soundtrack for that exact drive: timed to the trip, and shaped to the road. A SOUNDTRACK FOR THE ROUTE YOU PLANNED Paste an Apple Maps or Google Maps link, or open a GPX from any route planner, and Route Radio builds a playlist for that journey. It works out how long the drive will really take from the road itself — every curve, every climb — so a three-hour drive gets three hours of music, not a guess. Then it reads the route the way you will feel it. A tight twisting climb, a long open highway, a slow crawl through town, an easy flowing stretch: each becomes its own movement, and each movement gets music chosen to match its energy, as closely as your library allows. Syncopath measures tempo and loudness across your library in the background to make those choices. Every track shows where on the route it plays and why it was picked. If one is wrong for the moment, swap it for another that suits that stretch. Choose what it draws from: your own library, your Apple Music favourites, a Made for You mix, or a single genre. Then send it into Apple Music as a playlist ready to download before you leave, or onto the stick beside the rest of the load. Sending to SyncDash on your iPhone is coming soon. Tick USB-safe to keep the playlist to files that can go on the stick. IT KNOWS YOUR LIBRARY Point Syncopath at a folder — an internal drive, an external one, or a NAS share — and it walks the whole thing into a local catalogue. Forty-five thousand tracks across four thousand albums is unremarkable. Rescans are incremental, so unchanged files are skipped and a second look at a big library is cheap. Browse and filter by artist, album, genre or track, with cover art, and play anything before you commit to it. PICK, OR LET IT PICK Hand-pick albums into a basket. Or tell it the size of the stick and let it fill to capacity, weighted towards music that hasn't been in that car recently. ROTATION IS PER CAR Each stick is remembered by the volume itself, so two cars cycle independently and neither keeps handing you the same records. What went out last time is what comes home next time. IT ONLY TOUCHES WHAT IT PUT THERE Files Syncopath didn't write are left alone. You see exactly what will be removed, what will stay and what will arrive, before anything is copied. MP3, FLAC, M4A Whatever your library is actually made of. IT RUNS ON YOUR MAC No account, no sign-in, no server, no streaming service in the middle. Your music stays your music, in the formats you already have. FREE TO BROWSE Indexing, browsing, filtering and playing your whole library is free, however large it is, and so are loads of up to 50 tracks at a time. Building a Route Radio playlist and seeing every choice it makes is free too. A single one-time purchase removes the load cap, sends Route Radio playlists to Music or the stick (and to SyncDash, coming soon), and keeps per-car rotation history. No subscription.
