HelioPeak Weather is a weather app built for the television rather than shrunk to fit one. Large type, a few focused screens, and everything reachable with the Siri Remote from across the room.

THE WEEK AHEAD
HelioPeak Weather Plus opens the full seven-day forecast and 48 hours of hourly detail, with the hours of any day one click away.
AN AMBIENT DASHBOARD
Leave the television on and the dashboard keeps it awake: a large clock, the current conditions, a 24-hour precipitation strip, and your first three cities at a glance, each with its own local time. With Plus it runs over full-screen photography chosen to match the weather and the time of day.
Designed not to mark your screen. The display shifts by a few pixels over time, dims after thirty minutes without a press, changes to a darker presentation at night, and stops by itself after a couple of hours. All of it explained in Settings, and all of it adjustable.
AT A GLANCE ON THE HOME SCREEN
With Plus, and with the app in the top row of your Home Screen, the shelf above it shows your first city: the temperature, the conditions, the hours ahead, and whether the next twelve hours stay dry.
OFFICIAL WEATHER WARNINGS
Shown in the issuing agency's own words, with the agency named and a link to the full alert. Where Apple offers it, minute-by-minute precipitation shows whether the shower passes before you leave.
FOR SOLAR OWNERS
A sun outlook for the days ahead: how much daylight, and how much of it is likely to be clear. Made for the people who already follow their panels with HelioPeak.
SIX LANGUAGES, YOUR UNITS
English, Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish, switchable inside the app and independent of what the television is set to. Metric or imperial, your choice.
PRIVACY
No account, ever. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to. Your locations stay on the device: no coordinate and no place name is ever sent to us, not in analytics and not in a crash report. Location access is optional; skip it and search for any city by name.

REQUIREMENTS
Apple TV 4K (2021 or later) with tvOS 27. HelioPeak Weather Plus is an optional yearly subscription with a one-week free trial, shared with your family through Family Sharing.

This update brings more photographs, refinements and bug fixes. What changed:
The photo dashboard now chooses from many more photographs, with more choice for snow, clear days, partly cloudy nights, grey skies at sunrise and sunset, and thunderstorms. The dimmed dashboard no longer lets the screen behind it show through, the photo dashboard starts clean, and the Plus screen reads more clearly. The Top Shelf card above the app now says whether the next twelve hours stay dry. When the weather cannot be refreshed, the whole screen shows its age instead of only the top, and a section with nothing to show says so. With Reduce Motion on, the photo dashboard changes without a fade.
