Tide times, sea temperature and bathing water alerts for every beach in Ireland. Works offline, so it still answers when the signal on the coast gives up. Taoide tells you what the sea is doing at your beach today. Open it and you get the tide right away: how high the water is now, when the next high or low arrives, and a curve you can drag through the whole day. Tide times come from the Marine Institute and are stored on your phone, so they work with no signal at all. That matters on the Irish coast, where the bars on your phone tend to disappear exactly when you need them. Alongside the tide you get the rest of the picture. Air temperature and wind from Met Éireann. Sea temperature and wave height. Rain in the next two hours. Sunrise, sunset and the start of golden hour. Moon phase and today's tidal range, so you know whether you are in spring tides or neap. For swimmers there is a swim score: one number for how the conditions look right now, with the reasons behind it. Under it sits the bathing water status from the EPA, including any active advisory or prohibition for that beach. Bathing water can change during the day, so always check the signage when you get there. Save the beaches you use. Set a reminder for an hour before low tide. Browse the map to see the whole coast at a glance, with every tide station and designated bathing water on it.
