KAIRO is a first-person horror game about exploring atmospheric corridors, evading pursuers, and finding a way out. Look into the darkness, learn your route, and search for the key that will take you back to safety.
EXPLORE, COLLECT, AND ESCAPE
Search every passage for the items scattered throughout each stage. Once you have collected them all, a key appears somewhere in the corridors. Find it and head for the exit. The escape is not over until you unlock the door and make it through.
LISTEN, PLAN, AND KEEP MOVING
Footsteps can warn you of a pursuer before you see them. Check your map and use corners and branching passages to gain distance. Read the space, listen closely, and choose your next route as the pursuit unfolds.
CHALLENGE YOUR PERSONAL BEST
Your clear rank and time are recorded. With lives remaining, you can try again without losing the items you collected. Set ENEMIES to OFF / EXPLORE in SETTINGS to explore without pursuit; that attempt will not count toward your ranked records.
ADJUST YOUR EXPERIENCE
Change the volume, walking camera motion, introduction sequence, and enemy presence. Japanese and English display languages are supported.
CURRENTLY INCLUDED STAGES
THE FIRST WARD: Search a sealed hospital ward for medical charts.
THE GRAND HOTEL: Explore scarlet corridors and collect cloakroom tags.
Each has its own setting and pursuers.
PLAY OFFLINE
No account registration. Your settings and game records are saved on your device. Downloading or updating the app, and opening external pages such as support, require an internet connection.
PLEASE NOTE
The game includes flashing lights, sudden loud sounds, and startling scenes. Please take care if you are sensitive to flashing images. Play in a well-lit room at a comfortable volume.
There is no cloud sync or export feature for game records. Deleting the app or resetting your device may remove your records.
