Invite friends, Bjørn's Trail and a new shop. - invite friends with a personal link, a QR code or AirDrop; when a friend plays on any 3 days, you both get 7 days of Trailborn+, - Bjørn's Trail: once a day in the shop, a free stretch of road straight towards the nearest chest, - a redesigned shop: Trailborn+ and chest bundles up front, the free things in tiles, - adverts can earn you up to 5 chests a day, and they load faster, - Bjørn no longer gives away what is in a chest before it has opened, - units (km or miles) follow your phone's country, - nicknames are 3–20 characters and team names 3–24; existing names stay.

A new look: a clearer typeface and lighter windows throughout the game. The map looks as it did. Fixes: - your roads no longer disappear when you zoom or after a walk – the map keeps what it has already loaded and only adds the new roads, - a chest that was taken or opened disappears from the map, and tapping one tells you what happened, - team colours are now ordered by shade, - on Android, floors from a watch are read, and the profile explains where floors come from, - clearer that the game does not need to stay open while you walk, - avatars and crests without a light fringe, - closing the Apple sign-in sheet no longer shows an error, - your nickname is checked straight away, with a reason when it contains a word that is not allowed, - Bjørn and the chat use the same typeface as the rest of the game, and small text is larger and easier to read, - the rankings podium shows each player’s full nickname and team, - screen and section titles in a new bold typeface, - chests no longer hide under 3D buildings.

New: a race result shows up on the map the moment the race ends, with the standings and charts one tap away. Winning a race pays a level 1 chest (every team member in a team race). New look: buttons, switches and menu icons in the game’s own style on every screen. Bjørn has new lines and no longer says “no new steps” while a route is being drawn.
