Plug in every reader at once. Each card copies in its own stream, checksummed as it is read, so proving the footage arrived never costs a second pass over the card. Offload every card. Prove it arrived. You get back with four cards and one evening. Dragging folders in Finder is fast, and it verifies nothing — if a file lands short, you find out months later when you go to cut with it. SyncHole copies every card at once, and hashes every file as it reads it. EVERY READER AT ONCE Plug in two, three, four card readers. Each card copies in its own stream, so several readers saturate at the same time. A card that fails — or a reader someone knocks loose — doesn't disturb the others. Several cards at once comes with the one-time unlock; one card at a time is always free. PROOF, NOT HOPE Every file is checksummed as it is read, so verification never has to touch the card a second time. On a real 15.78 GB card that is 23 seconds on top of a copy already running at the card's ceiling: the same speed as dragging the folder in Finder, which proves nothing at all. Three levels. Off. Quick, which confirms every file arrived at exactly the right byte count. Or Full, which reads both sides and compares SHA-256. Only a full checksum unlocks erasing a card, and erasing always asks first. IT KNOWS YOUR CAMERAS A card you have used before is recognised by its volume ID. A new one is identified by what the camera left on it — a GoPro's own version file gives the exact model — so recognition survives a reformat. Each camera gets its own flat folder inside a dated session folder, with the card's nesting and the operating system's junk left behind. SEE IT HAPPEN A progress ring with one wedge per file, sized by that file's real bytes, in its card's own colour. The outer band fills as each file is written and a thin inner band tracks verification on the same wedges, so a long chapter visibly grows while a thousand stills stay visible beside it. A single bad file in two thousand shows up red. SEE IT BEFORE IT HAPPENS Expand a card to list every file with its size, what it will be called at the destination, and whether this session already has it. Untick the test clips. PROOF THAT OUTLIVES THIS APP Every session gets a manifest and an ASC MHL sidecar, the standard the film industry already uses, so any other tool can verify the copy without SyncHole installed. Plus a readable HTML report. IT RUNS ON YOUR MAC No account, no sign-in, no server, nothing uploaded anywhere. FREE TO OFFLOAD Offloading one card at a time is free and always will be, with full SHA-256 verification, the MHL sidecar, erase and the Finder sidebar item included. A single one-time purchase adds several cards at once, mirroring to a second drive from one read, the deep re-read verify, and auto-start on insert. No subscription.
