iPhone
Record your affirmations in your own voice, then play them back over rain or ocean — morning, focus, or as you fall asleep. Nothing leaves your iPhone.
Sona is an affirmations app that uses the only voice you actually believe: your own.
You write a line, record it, and Sona plays it back to you over a calm soundscape — in the morning,
before something that matters, or as you fall asleep.
RECORD IN YOUR OWN VOICE
Pick a line from a pack or write your own, then say it. A warm EQ and a soundscape bed make your
voice easy to listen back to. Almost everyone thinks their recorded voice sounds a little off at
first — that's just how ears work. It grows on you fast.
THREE KINDS OF SESSION
Morning — a short, bright start to the day.
Focus — a few lines before something that matters.
Sleep — a long, slow session that dims the screen and fades itself out on a timer.
WORDS THAT SOUND LIKE YOU
Every line is editable, and you choose how it is phrased: "I am", "I'm learning to", or spoken to
yourself by name. Some research suggests talking to yourself by name creates helpful distance.
Gentler phrasing is the default, because a line you half-believe is worth more than one you don't.
BUILT TO STAY PRIVATE
No account. No sign-up. No server. Your recordings and your words stay on your iPhone, and
everything works in Airplane Mode. If you want a backup, that is one switch, and it goes to your
own private iCloud — nowhere else.
ALSO IN SONA
Widgets and a Lock Screen Live Activity for the session you are in.
Captions and a transcript of your own lines, for when you would rather read along.
A streak that counts the sessions you actually played.
Eight soundscapes, including rain, ocean and forest.
FREE, AND WHAT PRO ADDS
Three recordings, one session of up to five lines, Morning sessions, the first pack and the Rain,
Ocean and Forest soundscapes are free, and stay free.
Sona Pro unlocks unlimited recordings, unlimited sessions of up to twenty lines, Sleep and Focus
modes, every pack and every soundscape. It comes three ways:
Sona Pro Weekly — $4.99, renews every week. No free trial on this plan.
Sona Pro Annual — $29.99, renews every year, and starts with 7 days free if your Apple Account is
eligible for the trial.
Sona Pro Lifetime — $34.99, paid once. Not a subscription: it never renews, and there is nothing to
cancel.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically
unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel it in Settings. Any
unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- Choosing Lifetime at the end of setup no longer closes the app.
- Ocean and Forest are now free, alongside Rain.
- Hear the balance: let go of the voice and sound slider in a session and it plays three seconds of your voice over the soundscape.
- Each sound and timing setting on a session now opens on its own.
- Recording stops by itself in a noisy room too, once you have finished speaking.
- Setup is clearer: every choice is on screen, and questions with one answer look like it.
- The Sona Pro screen now fits the larger iPhone models properly.
