Improved Downloads: choose Original or a supported converted quality, set a storage limit, and select a folder or external drive supported by iOS or iPadOS. Collections now distinguish movies and TV shows and follow your poster-size setting. Episode details use episode artwork. More library sorting options, improved startup and a first-use navigation hint on iPhone. Fixed progress after returning to Downloads, storage accounting after deletion, download controls and sign-in handling when switching apps.

Downloads: save movies and episodes, or a whole season or series, to watch without a connection, when your Plex server's owner allows downloads for you. See how much space a download takes before it starts. Find everything in the new Downloads tab, where you can collapse series and seasons or delete a whole season at once. Series pages show which episodes are downloaded, and a season can be downloaded again in another version. Progress you make offline is sent to Plex when you're back online, and downloads continue by themselves if the connection drops. Episode pages now show the series' seasons and episodes, like the series page. Shows remember the quality you choose, and Next keeps the version you're watching, such as a black-and-white cut. Collections with the same name in different libraries now appear as one. New Episode stills setting shows each episode's own image in episode lists.

Subtitles and Watch Together positions now stay in sync when a video streams from your Plex server, including after seeking. Improves playback start-up for some Dolby Vision titles.

Clearer Watch Together status messages explain when playback is preparing, buffering, waiting, or catching up. Participant counts are more accurate, and playback status messages are easier to read.
