Mac

A calendar, Markdown notes and a daily journal, kept as plain files in one folder on your Mac, iPhone and iPad. Mermaid diagrams and on-device AI included. Orviss is a personal knowledge app that organizes your calendar, notes, files of every kind and a daily journal, task by task. Unlike cloud-based note apps, Orviss keeps all of its data organized as local files. That also makes it easy to use with AI: Orviss can serve as an outboard brain for AI. WORK BY PROJECT • A project is one folder, and any file can go in it. Keep source code, notes, specs, web pages and mail together with the work they belong to. Every project comes with exactly one Project Overview note. • Web pages are saved as notes you can read in place. On the Mac, drag a message from Mail and it becomes a note, attachments included. • Next Up gathers the unfinished items from a project’s notes. WORK BY DAY • The Calendar tab syncs with your calendars, so you can see and edit the day’s events beside your notes. • Every day gets its own folder, and every day has exactly one Journal note ready. Use it for daily reports or as a diary. • The day’s home shows the photos you took, your step count (iPhone and iPad) and the files you touched that day. • Read a week or a month of journals as one page. MARKDOWN AND MERMAID • Every note is a .md file you can open with any app, now and in twenty years. Nothing is tied to the app. • Markdown notes can be viewed and edited in three modes: live, split and preview. Headings, checklists, tables, images and diagrams are all available. • Draw flowcharts, sequence diagrams, Gantt charts and more with Mermaid, right inside the note. • Notes can be exported as PDF. STICKIES, SEARCH AND SHORTCUTS • Thoughts that don’t have a home yet go on the stickies in the corner. • Search everything, by name or by content. • Save web pages, text, images and files from any app with the share sheet. • Widgets for today and for a sticky. Shortcuts to add to the journal, create a note, find notes and open today. AN OUTBOARD BRAIN • Your files stay on your device. No account is needed, and there is nothing to export. • On supported devices, Apple Intelligence writes a greeting for the day and a summary of a period, and drafts documents from what you already wrote. Nothing leaves the device. • Because it is all folders and Markdown, other apps, scripts and AI agents can read the same files. KEEP IT WHERE YOU LIKE • Choose the Documents folder, iCloud Drive (synced between Mac, iPhone and iPad) or any folder you like. • Templates for journals, notes and overviews are Markdown files too, so you can shape them to your own way of writing. • 30 themes, light and dark. 14-DAY FREE TRIAL Everything is available for the first 14 days. After that, reading, searching and widgets keep working; writing, AI drafts and saving from other apps come back with a one-time purchase of Orviss Premium. One purchase covers Mac, iPhone and iPad.
