Volume I is open: hundreds of cases, dozens of suspects, one culprit per floor plan. Every case is proved solvable by logic alone before it reaches you.
A body in the Owlery. Six suspects, and a page of clues that are all, inconveniently, true.
Murdoria is a murder mystery folded into a logic puzzle. Each case hands you a floor plan, a cast of suspects and a stack of statements. Place one suspect per row and one per column until a single arrangement survives. Whoever is left alone with the victim is your culprit.
No guessing. No luck. Nothing hidden. Just the clues and what they force to be true.
DIFFICULTY THAT MEANS SOMETHING
Most puzzle games pick a label and hope. Murdoria's tiers are tested, not guessed. Easy really is a warm-up. Hard really will keep you up.
SEVENTEEN WAYS TO TELL THE TRUTH
Rooms and neighbours. Corners and walls. Windows. Objects you're beside, sitting on, or nowhere near. Headcounts per room. Compass directions. The clues combine, so the same seventeen ideas keep producing cases that feel new.
IN THE CASEBOOK
- Hundreds of hand-built cases across Easy, Medium and Hard
- Boards from five suspects up to eight
- A cast of dozens, each with a portrait and a reason to be nervous
- Notes and crosses for pencilling in theories, with auto-elimination handling the busywork
- A glossary defining every clue type exactly, so "beside" never means two different things
- Hints for when a case genuinely won't move
- Solve streaks worth protecting
- Plays entirely offline
THE SETTING
Not another country manor. Murdoria's cases unfold through cloisters, cellars, owleries, conservatories and towers, furnished with cauldrons, mirrors and the occasional statue that saw everything and will say nothing.
HOW TO PLAY
Read the clues. Cross out what can't be. Place who must be. One suspect per row, one per column, never two in the same square. When the board resolves, find the suspect sharing a room with the victim. That's your culprit, and the case is closed.
If you like Sudoku, logic grids, whodunits, classic detective board games or a good brain teaser, there's a case waiting.
