FlipOff: Your Pocket Flipboard

Split-Flap Message Board

$4.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Turn your screen into a classic split-flap board. Display your favorite quotes, greetings, and daily vibes with satisfying flip animations and mechanical sound. Bring a little airport nostalgia to your desk. FlipOff turns your iPhone or iPad into a split-flap message board, inspired by the departure displays you used to see in airports and train stations. Watch the letters flip into place, complete with that familiar mechanical sound. Put up a favorite quote, leave a welcome message, or give your desk something more interesting to say than the time. MAKE IT YOURS Write your own messages and save them for later. Edit the wording, change the order, or start again whenever you feel like it. A greeting for someone coming home. A reminder to take a break. Something silly that makes you smile. It’s your board. LET IT FLIP Pick a message with the previous and next controls, or let the board cycle through your collection automatically. You can choose how long each message stays on screen. Enjoy the sound of the tiles turning, or mute it when you need some quiet. AT HOME ON YOUR DESK Prop up your phone beside your laptop or give an iPad a spot on a shelf. Use it for a welcome sign, a small announcement, or a bit of retro decoration. The board works in portrait and landscape, so you can use whichever suits your space. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED FlipOff works offline. Your messages and settings are saved on your device, with no account to create and nothing to sync. There are no ads, tracking, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Write, edit, save, and reorder your messages. • Move between messages with simple controls. • Set messages to rotate automatically. • Adjust the rotation interval. • Watch the split-flap animation with optional mechanical sound. • Use your iPhone or iPad in portrait or landscape. • Keep using your board without an internet connection. A few words. A familiar clatter. A board of your own.
