How much is left this week?
Codex Weekmeter is a free, unofficial Mac menu bar utility for checking your weekly Codex usage and remaining allowance.
• See used and remaining percentages
• Compare elapsed time and usage with seven cells and an animated character
• Choose a dog, cat or robot for the meter and share images
• Change language and appearance (Auto, Light or Dark) in Settings
• Check the weekly period and scheduled reset time
• Convert an optional forecast time across five cities
• Share a usage-based image and message on X
• Use Japanese, English, Korean, Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese
Copy the device code shown in the app and sign in to ChatGPT in your browser. No separate Codex installation is needed.
Requires an Apple Silicon Mac and macOS 13 or later. A ChatGPT account with Codex access is required to display live weekly usage. Availability of weekly usage depends on your account; readings may be delayed or unavailable. Values are percentages of the weekly allowance, not absolute token counts.
Sharing is optional. Paste the copied image into X, review the image and text, and post it yourself. The app does not post automatically or guarantee a reply or an allowance reset.
This is not an official OpenAI product and does not imply affiliation or endorsement. Weekmeter cannot change, grant or reset your allowance.
Choose “Try a sample” before signing in to explore on-track usage, fast usage, an exhausted allowance and a newly reset week. Sample data is clearly labeled and does not connect to ChatGPT. Display settings and forecast changes in sample mode are not saved. Shared sample images and draft posts are labeled as samples too.
