Accident or hospital: who checks on your pet? Start the timer before you leave. If you can't check in, PawSafe alerts your helpers one after another. You have an accident or end up in hospital. Your pet waits at home alone, and nobody knows. That is what PawSafe is for: start the timer before you leave. If you can't check in, PawSafe alerts your helpers one after another until one says yes. How it works: • Start the timer before you leave. Set when you'll be back, from 30 minutes to 24 hours. With location access, the timer starts by itself when you leave home. • Back home, tap "I'm back home", or PawSafe recognizes your return from your location. • Before time runs out, PawSafe reminds you several times. One tap adds 15 minutes, also from the Lock Screen and Apple Watch. • If you don't check in, PawSafe alerts your first helper. If they don't answer within the time you set, the next helper is asked. • Helpers answer with one tap: "I'll help" or "I can't". When one says yes, you know right away and PawSafe stops asking others. With "I can't after all", the next helper is asked. • In an emergency, your helper sees your address and your access note, for example where the key is. Your helpers Invite up to ten helpers by link or QR code. Helpers need no account and pay nothing. You set the order and, for each helper, how long PawSafe waits for an answer. If a helper is on holiday, pause them. Every helper reads the alert in their own language: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or Portuguese. Lock Screen and Apple Watch The countdown runs as a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with buttons for "+15" and "Home". Apple Watch shows the countdown too, and you can start the timer there. No signal? Your tap still counts: PawSafe sends it as soon as you're back online. Emergency card for your wallet PawSafe creates a PDF with up to four numbers in your order. Whoever finds you knows your pet is alone and whom to call. You also get a text to paste into Medical ID in the Health app. No account, no login PawSafe never asks for an email address or a password. On a new iPhone, PawSafe recognizes you through your iCloud Keychain. Location is optional: without it, you end the timer yourself. A helper sees your address only in an emergency. Cost App notifications are free. With the optional auto-renewing "SMS and WhatsApp" subscription, PawSafe also reaches your helpers by SMS and WhatsApp, even without the app and on basic phones.
