Verbs are the hardest part. We picked the ones you need every day, sorted them by level, drew every one and gave them a voice.
A drawing needs no translation. That is the whole idea behind Leos Cards.
Every card is a picture of somebody doing something. You look at it, recall the word yourself, and only then tap to check. No multiple choice, no word lists to read down — the picture goes straight to the meaning, without your own language standing in the middle.
FOUR LANGUAGES, ONE DECK
Because the drawing carries the meaning, the same 538 cards work in Greek, English, Dutch or Russian. Pick the language for the front of the card and the whole deck follows it: its own A1 to C1 ladder, its own lessons, its own progress. Switch whenever you like — what you have already learned stays where it is.
The interface is separate from what you study, so you can learn Greek with a Russian interface, or English with a Greek one.
HOW A LESSON GOES
Twenty words at a time. Swipe right if you knew it, left if you did not. The ones you missed come back in Review, so the deck quietly narrows down to what you actually find hard. Undo takes back a wrong swipe; shuffle mixes up what is left.
A lesson always resumes where you stopped, and the day-streak counter keeps score of the days you showed up.
WHAT IS INSIDE
• 538 verbs, each with its own illustration, no stock icons and no repeats
• Levels A1 to C1, in every one of the four languages
• Lessons of twenty words
• Past-tense forms, if you switch them on
• Themed sets: movement, speech, mind and feelings, perception, everyday, work, people, and a set of the hard ones
Verbs are the load-bearing part of a sentence and the part that resists memorising, which is why the deck is built entirely out of them.
