Chispot: Places and Stories

See what's going on around you

Find your chispot, Find your community Open the map, create a chispot, build your community. Chispot turns real places into places that talk. A chispot is a spot on the map — a café, a campus, a park, a whole neighbourhood — with its own feed, its own people and its own conversation. Open the map to see what's happening around you, or browse what's popular anywhere in the world. HOW IT WORKS Open the map. Create a chispot for anywhere that matters to you, Open to everyone, private, member only posting or even Hide it so only your friends and members can find it. Step inside one to read its feed and meet the people there. Post a photo or video from the spot itself. Follow the conversation in comments, or message someone directly. POST FROM WHERE YOU ARE Posting a story to a chispot means being there. Your camera captures the moment and the app checks you're within range of the spot before it goes up. NEAR AND FAR Popular shows the busiest chispots anywhere in the world and down the street — so there's always somewhere worth opening, wherever you are. FRIENDS AND MESSAGES Add friends, see where they're posting, and start a conversation in direct messages. You control who can see your posts and who can message you. SAFETY Chispot is for ages 16 and over. Every post, can be reported, and you can block anyone at anytime. Reports are reviewed by a person. Our child safety standards, and how to reach us, are at chispots.com. Find your chispot.
