Hazard alerts for your places

Orbis keeps watch over the places that matter to you and tells you when an official warning is issued there. Add your home, your parents' town, or the cities on your next trip. Orbis checks the official warning services for those places around the clock and sends a notification when a warning starts, gets more serious, or changes in an important way. WHAT YOU GET • Describe it your way: type your plans in your own words and Orbis drafts the places and times for you to check and confirm. This uses a third-party AI service, and only after you agree. • Places and trips: follow a place for as long as you like, or add a trip with dates and several stops. Trips end on their own. • Official sources only: warnings come from national agencies such as the US National Weather Service and USGS, Italy's Civil Protection and INGV, the Swiss FOEN and SLF, Australia's Bureau of Meteorology and state fire services, the UK Environment Agency, the Icelandic Met Office, and Europe's national weather services through MeteoAlarm. Every alert shows who issued it and when. • Clear levels: each alert is marked Elevated or High risk, mapped directly from the official level, with the original text alongside. • What to do: short, reviewed safety steps for each hazard type. • Honest status: every place shows which hazards are covered, when it was last checked, and a clear note if a source may be out of date. • Local weather in the same place, so you do not have to switch apps. COVERAGE Places in the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Australia and mainland China. Hazards include thunderstorms, wind, heavy rain, snow, heat, floods, tropical cyclones, tsunami, earthquakes, wildfires, volcanic activity and avalanches. Coverage differs by country, and the app shows what is and is not covered for each place. PRIVACY No account. No ads. No tracking. The only location Orbis keeps is the city-level places you choose, and you can delete all your data from the app at any time. IMPORTANT Orbis relays official warnings and does not replace official warning channels or emergency services. It does not predict earthquakes. Notifications depend on your network and device settings and may be delayed. In an emergency, follow instructions from local authorities. CONTACT support@myorbis.xyz
