Your data follows you, and units are right again. • Units follow your device: the temperature unit and measurement system set there (in the UK, °C with mph and miles), unless you pick Metric or US units in Drizzo’s Settings. Wind, rain, snow, pressure and distances follow, in alerts and widgets too. • iCloud Sync: your places, trips and drives, Home and Work, alert rules, the Sky Collection and your preferences move with you to a new iPhone, your iPad and your Mac, through your private iCloud, never our servers. • Share a drive with a link. It opens in Drizzo or any browser, is encrypted on your device with only town names in it, and ends with the drive, or at once with Stop sharing. • Rain you can trust: Drizzo says “Raining now” only when the radar sees it or the forecast shows real rain; where no radar covers you, it says “Light rain possible” instead. Every card, widget and alert gives the same answer. • While a drive runs, it stays at the top of the screen: tap to open it, hold to end it. • New on the Rain Map since 1.1.4: air quality (fine particles) and the UV index. • Also since 1.1.4: Home and Work for your commute, checked on the 15-minute forecast with a card and a widget before you leave; how today compares with yesterday and with usual; the last 24 hours on the hourly chart. • Fixes: the hours after the clocks change, a warning raised to a higher level alerts you again, “changes by” alerts in °F, widgets and the watch complication no longer show old or empty forecasts, and the sun is right in polar days and nights.

More accurate, everywhere. • The sky at the top now follows the rain radar and satellites, like the rain card below it: no more “Drizzle” over “Raining now”, and no shower that isn’t there. • Where a national weather service runs its own model (France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the UK, Japan, Canada and more), the current temperature and sky come from it too, matching the hours below. • Feels like follows the standard definitions: wind chill when it’s cold, the heat index when it’s hot, the real temperature in between. • Rain and UV are shown in the right hour, also in India, Nepal and Newfoundland, and each day’s rain total matches its hours. • Rain from satellites now reaches India and Southeast Asia, and light rain is caught more often in Africa and the Middle East. • Drives: mountain passes get a forecast of their own, drives and trips use the same national models as the forecast, dense fog is only called when it’s really there, rain on frozen roads is flagged as ice, and times show their time zone when a drive crosses one. • The air quality sheet explains its levels better.

Hurricanes, typhoons, and the sea. • Tropical storms: the hurricane map follows every hurricane, typhoon and cyclone on Earth with the official forecast track and cone, warned coasts, storm surge areas and the last three days of its path. Pick one to see how close it comes to your places, when storm-force winds could start and the forecasters' chance of them. It's also a layer on the rain map. • With Drizzo Plus, an alert when a storm heads your way (inside the cone, storm-force winds possible, a watch, a warning or a surge area) and a Live Activity on the Lock Screen that follows it until it has passed. • New widgets: a hurricane widget, with the track on a real map in medium and large, and a Rain map widget with the latest radar around your place. You can share a storm as a picture, too. • Places by the sea trade the hills for a coast: a lighthouse on a headland, palm beaches or desert shores, with the sun or moon shining on the water. Only where the shore is really close. • The 24-hour temperature card switches between actual and feels like. • The speech bubble now speaks up only when something is coming: rain, a warning, a big change. On a calm day the sky is all yours. • Widgets paint the same skies as the app, from dawn to the glow after sunset, and show dust when it's in the air. • Ready for the cover display of iPhone Duo. • A drive started with "I'm leaving" can always be found again, a place you just added no longer opens on an empty sky, and the rain Live Activity shows its timing only for the rain it's about. • Widgets set to a place keep it, and tapping one opens that place.

A big update for anyone who drives. • Check the drive on one full-screen map, with the road coloured by the weather you'll meet and official warnings on the way. • Best time to leave: Drizzo tries departures from two hours earlier to four hours later and tells you when the drive is calmer. • Winter roads: black ice and frost on the road, and crosswind for your vehicle. • Breaks with a real place to stop, chargers first for an electric car, and a stop to arrive dry when a pause lets the rain pass. • Map layers: wind, temperature and cloud cover on the rain map and along your drive. • While you drive, the map follows your car. With Plus, the drive also shows in CarPlay and on Apple Watch. • After you arrive, see how the forecast did against what radar saw on your road. • Repeat a drive on weekdays and Drizzo watches your commute. Share a drive with a link. • Warnings, rain and lightning alerts now come by push, so they arrive on time even when Drizzo is closed. • Trips get Overview, Days, Drives and Pack tabs, and a longer outlook for trips two to six weeks away. • National high-resolution models now lead the forecast in more countries, including Switzerland and Austria. • Swiping quickly between places no longer leaves you unable to get back to your location, and birds fly in front of the sun.
