DuoBar replaces the clutter of multiple menu-bar icons with a single, elegant status mark - a ring, a center glyph, and four dots that shows exactly the system stats you care about. WHAT YOU SEE • Battery: time to full, Low Power Mode, maximum capacity and cycle count • Network: a download and upload graph for the last minute • CPU: a usage graph, load averages, thermal state and uptime • Memory: App, Wired, Compressed and Cached, the way Activity Monitor splits it • Disk: free space on every volume ANY METRIC, ANY SLOT (PRO) Put any of eight metrics on the ring, in the center or on the dots: Battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Volume, Network, Memory, CPU or Disk. LIVE MOMENTS (PRO) The mark briefly shows what just happened, then steps back: plugging in, the battery dropping to 20% and 10%, AirPods connecting, the network dropping or coming back, a change in volume. MAKE IT YOURS Nine colors, three ring thicknesses and an adjustable icon size. Gradient and segmented ring styles come with Pro. PROFILES (PRO) Save setups like Work, Travel and Minimal, and switch between them from the popover. PRIVATE AND LIGHT • No analytics, no tracking, no network requests • Everything is read on your Mac through Apple's public APIs • Only the metrics you can see are read, and the icon redraws only when something changes FREE AND PRO DuoBar is free with the default mark (Battery, Wi-Fi and Memory), every color and thickness, and the full popover with all its pages. BUILT TO BE INVISIBLE DuoBar is an agent app - no Dock icon, no windows, nothing but the mark in your menu bar. It only samples the metrics currently on screen, skips work entirely when your Mac is idle, and only redraws when something actually changes. Battery and Wi-Fi updates are push-based and cost nothing extra. PRIVACY FIRST Everything is read locally through public Apple system APIs. No analytics, no telemetry, no network requests of any kind - DuoBar doesn't generate traffic, it just reads existing counters. Wi-Fi status never touches SSID or signal strength, so macOS never asks for your location. Requires macOS 14 or later.
