AeroAtlas turns planespotting into a collection. Every aircraft carries a registration – and every registration tells you where it comes from. Log it, and watch your world map fill up.
INSTANT RECOGNITION
Start typing a tail number and AeroAtlas shows the country, the registration authority and how rare it is – live, as you type. The built-in database covers every ICAO registration prefix worldwide and works completely offline.
YOUR WORLD MAP
Every country you've collected lights up on the map. Pan and zoom in fullscreen, search for a country and tap it to see all your sightings from there. Even tiny territories like Monaco, Gibraltar or Singapore get their own marker.
LOGBOOK & COLLECTION
• Log every sighting with location, date, aircraft type, airline and notes
• Edit or delete entries at any time
• Sort your collection by region, name, rarity or count, and filter by collected or still open
• Browse by category: jets, turboprops, general aviation, helicopters, gliders and vintage aircraft
STATS & POINTS
Every new country earns points based on its rarity – from 1 point for common countries up to 25 for very rare ones. Track your progress by region and rarity, and see your top countries, airlines, aircraft types and spotting locations.
SPOTTING TOGETHER
• Suggestions: for known registrations, AeroAtlas suggests aircraft type and airline based on reports from the spotter community
• Heatmap: see where an aircraft has been spotted
• Leaderboard: compare your score with spotters around the world
• Sync: sign in with Apple, Google or email to keep your collection on all your devices
Your sightings are always stored on your device first – no account needed to start collecting.
