Pawzo is fifteen games a cat actually plays, and they are not all the same game. Chase a laser dot that darts and hides, a mouse that scurries and squeaks, three fish under rippling water, a buzzing fly, a roach that freezes and bolts, a floaty butterfly, a little bird that hops and chirps, a dangling feather, fireflies for the dark. Whack mice as they pop out of their holes. Pop bubbles drifting up from the bottom. Pin a long wiggly worm anywhere along its body. Bat a ball of yarn and watch it roll, unwinding its thread. Catch leaves before they land. Pick ants off a marching line.
MADE FOR PAWS, NOT FINGERTIPS
A paw that lands or drags anywhere near the prey catches it. No tapping, no lifting, no waiting. Miss by a whisker and it runs, like the real thing. Two paws at once are fine.

NOTHING FOR THE CAT TO PRESS
The field has no buttons: no pause, no score, no menu for a paw to hit. You come back by holding a small pill in the corner for a second and a half — a resting paw won't. For a paw-proof lock, turn on Guided Access and triple-click the side button.
SOUND THROUGH THE SPEAKER, EVEN ON SILENT
Squeaks, chirps, buzzes, pops and splashes play with the ring switch on silent, because the cat is the audience.
PREY THAT MOVES LIKE PREY
Nothing here glides in circles. The mouse wanders, freezes and bolts; the fish flee a near miss; the fly never sits still; the roach waits, then runs; the mice in the holes duck when a paw lands close. Prey scale up on an iPad and down on a phone, and you can size them for a kitten or a Maine Coon in Settings.
AFTER THE SESSION
Hold to exit and see how it went: catches, time, which game, and whether it was a new best. Some cats need a bigger prey and a second look before they commit — the app says so instead of pretending every cat plays on the first try.
Pawzo works on iPhone and iPad, in any orientation. An iPad flat on the floor is where most cats play best.
