Whisky Inc. is a management sim with a very high degree of freedom, about building a whisky house of your own. Shape your own whisky lineup (a peat specialist, a sherry specialist, and so on), sign with brokers, and grow.
You begin as a poor independent bottler. You buy spirit from real distilleries or have it made to order, choose from around 670 kinds of cask, and let it mature. A matured cask can be sold as a cask, blended, or simply bottled. Whisky to your taste becomes your own lineup, the lineups together become your house, and the house trades with brokers in more than 160 countries.
BUILD YOUR LINEUP
• Start with three Founder's Casks and your first release.
• Grow into Standard, Premium, Luxury and Single Cask lines. Each line has its own requirements, its own price and its own buyers.
• Keep your signature whisky going year after year: save the recipe, source the casks, release the next batch.
• Mix distilleries on the Blending Bench, or order spirit made to your own recipe from a distillery.
EVERY DETAIL IS YOURS, FROM START TO FINISH
• Spirit: 86 distilleries across Speyside, Highland, Islay, Lowland, Campbeltown and the Islands.
• Cask: bourbon, sherry, port, rum, wine, Sauternes, Tokaji, Marsala, Calvados, virgin oak and more; first-fill, refill (second, third+) and re-charred; around 670 kinds of cask by size.
• Blending & vatting: play the house's master blender too, and make the best whisky from realistic combinations.
• Bottle design: bottle shape, closure, thousands of label designs (age statement, strength, natural colour, non-chill-filtered), or a photo you upload yourself, all in the Atelier.
MATURATION AND EVALUATION ARE THE HEART OF THE GAME
• Maturation is modelled to behave very much like the real thing.
• With the help of simulation analysis, each recipe is scored close to how a master would actually judge it.
PLENTY TO DO
• Brokers in more than 160 countries offer contracts based on your reputation and their own taste. The map fills in every time you open a new market.
• Enter national, continental and world competitions every year. And compete with other players' houses, worldwide or in your country, on the World Board.
• Join a guild, share good recipes and grow together.
Angel's share, extraction curves, cask strength, broker demand: the whole economy is simulated.

• Seven new seasonings: Virgin Oak, Fino, Manzanilla, Sauternes, Tokaji, Marsala and Calvados.
• Re-charred casks: every seasoning except Virgin Oak can now come re-charred.
• Find them in New Fill, Finish, the Laboratory, Recipe Book recommendations and the aged-cask market.
• Fino and Manzanilla make lines of their own; Sauternes, Tokaji and Marsala count toward the Wine track.
• A fifth Founder's Cask choice, with one new cask for each age.
