Interview practice, languages and newcomer help, with ID-verified Experts in public places near you.
Timefolk is a marketplace for practical, in-person sessions with local Experts. Pick a skill, choose an Expert who offers it, and schedule a session at a public place and a time that suit you.
WHAT YOU CAN GET HELP WITH
• Interview practice: mock interviews, airline and cabin crew interviews, and honest feedback on your answers
• Languages: conversation practice, pronunciation, Business English and practice for language tests
• Newcomer help: transport, paperwork, neighbourhoods and local customs in a new city
• And more: CV review, SI tools for work, startup ideas and pitch decks, culture walks, fitness technique, cooking and creative skills
WHY YOU CAN TRUST AN EXPERT
• Profession and years of experience on every profile
• Checked credits: Experts send proof of their work, and checked credits are marked
• Reviews from Clients after every session
• Every Expert verifies their identity with a government ID and a liveness check
HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose a skill and an Expert.
2. Pick a public place, a time and a length, from 30 minutes to 6 hours. The session fee is fixed and shown before you pay.
3. Schedule the session. The Expert confirms within 15 minutes, or it is cancelled and your money comes back.
4. Start the session at the place with a QR code or your session code, then leave a review.
SAFETY BUILT IN
• Sessions take place in public places only
• A QR code or session code to start each session, an emergency information screen, and one-tap reporting and blocking
• Skills, bios and event descriptions are checked automatically, and a person reviews every report
• Your location is only ever an approximate area, and the app works fully if you decline to share it
• Optional Folk: in some cities Timefolk can assign a trusted, ID-verified person to join your session in a public place, with its own fee shown before you pay
Timefolk is for practical, hands-on help. It is not a dating service, and romantic or sexual services are prohibited on every session and profile. Timefolk is for adults 18 and over.
BECOME AN EXPERT
Have practical know-how to share? Add your profession, your years of experience and the skills you offer, set your hours and your session fee within your city's range, and keep 80% of your session fee. Experts are independent: they offer sessions in their own name, and Timefolk verifies them and handles payment and safety.
MEMBERSHIP (OPTIONAL)
Timefolk Plus for Clients removes the service fee on the sessions you schedule. Timefolk Pro for Experts lowers the Timefolk fee and puts you first in your fee band. Both are optional and sold through the App Store.
WHERE
Timefolk is available in 120 countries, and Experts open city by city. If there are none near you yet, join the waitlist and we will tell you when they arrive.
