Since version 1.1, Folder Presets has grown into a complete local project-workspace toolkit: • COMPLETE WORKSPACES: Presets can now open related web links alongside ordered Finder folders. Links may open in a new browser window, and date/time tokens can change with the day. • MORE DYNAMIC NAMES: Use familiar formats such as [date:M.D.YY], plus [time], [datetime], [year], [month], [day], [weekday], and [week]. Folder templates can ask questions at creation time with [?Client] or suggest a value with [?Client|Acme]; repeated names are asked once and the last answer is remembered. • QUICK JUMP: Find files and folders by any part of a name or Chinese pinyin. Results update during Chinese/Japanese input and stream while large folders are scanned. Search subfolders or Spotlight-indexed file contents, include hidden items, and filter by folders, images, PDFs, documents, audio/video, or archives. Recent and frequently chosen results rank higher; matched letters, thumbnails, type, size, and date are shown. Multi-select to reveal, open, copy paths, or open with another app, and drag results to other apps. A setting skips heavy folders such as node_modules or DerivedData. • PROJECT FOLDER TEMPLATES: Keep multiple named templates and build unlimited nesting in one Tab-indented editor. Preview date/time names, give each template a shortcut that opens it ready to use, create a template from an existing folder, and create inside a folder from Finder's contextual menu. Export or import templates between Macs. Undo Last Creation removes only folders that were just created and are still empty. • FINDER AND SHORTCUTS INTEGRATION: A Finder extension adds Open a Preset, Quick Jump Here, Add to a Preset, Create Folders from Template, and Save Folder as Template, plus a Finder toolbar button. New Services actions work on selected folders. Shortcuts, Spotlight, and Siri offer Open Preset, Quick Jump, and Show Presets. Custom URL commands support launchers and personal automations. • FOLDER CLONER: Recreate a folder hierarchy without copying files. Choose one folder, a fixed depth, or all levels; exclude names or wildcard patterns; merge safely; preview first; and save repeat jobs as presets. Multiple Watch pairs can run together. Watch is strictly additive and never removes destination content. • SEARCH, RECOVERY, AND POLISH: Quick Jump is substantially faster on large folders and remembers recent choices. Presets can be exported/imported, and up to 10 rolling local backups can be restored. A first-launch welcome guide, conflict-aware shortcuts, diagnostics/reporting, Launch at Login, and improved VoiceOver labels were added. • NEW LANGUAGES: Traditional Chinese and Japanese join English and Simplified Chinese, including the Finder extension and Services menu. • SAFER LOCAL WORKFLOWS: Folder creation blocks paths outside the chosen destination; Folder Cloner blocks recursive destination choices; locale-independent dates remain predictable; damaged preset files are preserved rather than overwritten; and the Mac App Store build remains sandboxed to folders you explicitly authorize. No account, tracking, analytics, ads, cloud storage, or developer server is used.

Folder matching is now more forgiving: optionally ignore spaces, underscores, hyphens, and punctuation. If a keyword matches multiple folders equally, Folder Presets can ask which one you meant. Global settings now live in a compact gear sheet, leaving more room for each preset.
