Three new bars: matcha, fresh-pressed sugarcane and açaí bowls, each with its own drinks, skill and mini-game, and twelve more critters drop by. Every drink and snack on the menu now has a look of its own, so you can tell them apart at a glance. Make the shop yours: pick a front door from dozens of styles, lay big rugs under your furniture, drag any piece with one finger, and turn everything four ways. Edit mode now has undo, redo, five saved layouts and put all away, which clears the counters too so you can rebuild the shop from scratch, and bigger Done and Pick up buttons. Happy customers order up to four things, carried on a tray, and anyone further back in the pickup line steps up to the counter for their order. Chairs fit on every side of a table and benches seat a row. Customers come in at a steady pace through the day, and flyers and Happy Hour bring the rush when you want one. Holiday specials are now recipes you learn once and sell all year, and each holiday's specials, drinks and food, bring in more of its crowd. Every shop level pays bonus cash, and now and then a business critter drops by with a deal. When you visit a friend, your own money shows. Introducing Boba Heart VIP, an optional monthly membership: no banner ads, 30% off items without watching an ad, Happy Hour for coins, and four glowing VIP pieces that are yours to keep. And if you like, a notification lets you know when your flyers or Happy Hour are ready to go again.

Your shop now shows every bit of experience it earns: the level bar glows and a "+XP" floats off it, happy customers are worth a point each, anything served is a flat 8 XP, and a weekly bill paid in full gives XP you collect from the payday card. Twelve new critters: turtle, horse, dragon, snake, goat, rooster, capybara, red panda, squirrel, alpaca, axolotl and hippo. Editing the shop no longer sends customers home. Play it next to something else in split screen on foldables and in Split View on iPad, with the status bar back. A small arrow beside your money folds the counters away, and it remembers. Friend visits are tidier, overlapping holidays each get a pill, and Claim all clears the Friends mark straight away.

Lighter on the battery: the shop is drawn on its own clock instead of as fast as the screen allows, and the floor, walls and lamplight are painted once rather than every frame, roughly halving what the game asks of your phone. A new battery saver switch beside the sound one also turns off steam, bubbles and weather. Two new counters: who is waiting to order and waiting on a drink, and how many seats are taken. While editing, the shop now moves clear of the tray to reach what hides behind it.

Balance pass: bigger shops draw bigger crowds, and rent, utilities and salaries now grow with the room, so every size earns at a fair pace. The register mini-game keeps its keys in the same place, one per menu category, and the ticket is what the customer is really ordering.
