A pocket collection for the overlooked: quiet scenes, hidden cats, coded notes, number locks, and a case that will not sit still. A cat behind the curtain. A shape waiting for its missing piece. A message that makes you pause. First Sign gives you small reasons to look closer and think a little further. Practice noticing details, working through possibilities, and approaching a question with a detective’s patience. Find a place for each illustrated object. Search for cats among books and cushions. Try writing a familiar word in Morse code or shifting its letters with a Caesar cipher. Work out a four-digit code using the feedback from each attempt. When you feel like following a story, open a fictional case. Read conversations, examine photographs, and compare notes. Hold a thought, check it against another detail, and decide whether it still makes sense. Some days, you may want to work through a whole case. Other days, finding the last cat is enough. Your scene progress and unfinished cases are gathered in My Journey, so you can return to them when you have a little time. Bring your curiosity. Start with whatever catches your eye.
