After Words holds those things safely, and delivers them when the time comes — a letter to your daughter on her eighteenth birthday, an explanation your son can read when he is older, the location of the papers nobody else knows about.
You write it once. We wait as long as it takes.
THREE WAYS A LETTER CAN ARRIVE
On a date you choose
A birthday, an anniversary, a morning years from now. Pick the day and the hour, and it arrives then.
After a long silence
If you have not opened the app for a period you set, your letters go out. Opening the app resets the clock. Nothing else is required of you.
When people you trust confirm
Choose people who know you. A letter only moves when two of them agree — and even then it waits a further week, so you can always stop it.
BUILT TO BE CAREFUL
This is not an app that can afford to be wrong, so it is slow on purpose.
No single person can trigger a delivery. Two confirmations are required, never one.
Nothing happens while you are active. Your letters are only considered once you have genuinely been away.
You are warned first. Before anything is sent, you get an email — and simply opening the app cancels everything and clears every report.
Each reader is private. A letter can be addressed to several people, and none of them learn who else received it.
YOUR WORDS STAY YOURS
Your letters are not read, scanned, shown to anyone, or used to train anything. They sit untouched until they are delivered, and then they go to the people you named and nobody else.
You can edit or delete any letter at any time, and delete your account and everything in it whenever you want.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Free accounts can keep several letters and write to up to three people at once.
Premium raises both limits, removes ads, and lets a single letter reach six people.
After Words is available in English, Russian and Uzbek.
SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
After Words Premium is an auto-renewable subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings at any time.
