FIRESCOOP IS A GAME, NOT A SIMULATOR
Short action missions at the controls of the Firescooper, a made-up amphibious aircraft. Load water by scooping, find the smoke column and put out the fire before it gets away from you. Fast, beautiful and straight to the point: open it and you are already flying. Nobody gets hurt in the missions.
HOW TO PLAY
- Tilt your phone or use the touch stick, with whichever hand you prefer. Power, flaps and hopper are one finger away.
- On iPad and Mac you can also fly with a keyboard or a Bluetooth controller.
- Get down to the water, scoop and climb out. The better your entry, the faster the hopper fills.
- Drop at the right height over the fire: the more precise, the more points.
- Earn stars, unlock missions and win patches for your pilot's flight suit.
- On your first flights, the instructor guides you with gestures.
A REAL WORLD
- Fly over real terrain and satellite imagery at the scooping points of Spain and Portugal, all free.
- Downloadable airfields in Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, Turkey, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Cuba and Fiji, with one free in each country.
- Real fires detected by satellite, or create your own by holding your finger on the map. Over water, even a boat can catch fire.
- A living world: towns, boats, birds, trucks, ground crews and other aircraft that help you with the fire.
- With your location, you start where you are.
- Start on a runway with the aircraft cold and dark, or in the air next to the water.
- Live weather: wind, gusts, light by time of day and visibility. Prefer a calm flight? There is an easy mode with no wind.
INSIDE THE AIRCRAFT
- Glass cockpit or analog gauges, your choice, plus an outside view.
- Turbine sound recorded for real, from the cold start to the scooping.
- Amphibious gear, propeller lever with beta and reverse, drop door and emergency dump.
- Water rudders to taxi like a boat, and ground refilling with the water truck.
- Radio with the tower, the fire frequency and your formation frequency.
- Fly alone, in a pair or with two pairs, with their radio checks.
- Online with your friends: up to 8 aircraft. Send the room code by WhatsApp, the leader dispatches everyone from their home base and you talk on the radio with the PTT button.
- An iPad in the cockpit with map, airfield charts and direct-to coordinates.
- Surprise emergencies, with their checklist and a patch if you handle them well.
- Replay from several cameras, to watch and share.
PREMIUM
Firescoop is free to play. Firescoop Premium, a monthly auto-renewable subscription, adds: custom missions, all airfields, real fires worldwide, all missions and emergencies, "My weather", online flights with up to 8 aircraft and the full logbook. Cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
NO ACCOUNTS
No sign-up. Open it and play. Your progress is saved on your device and, with iCloud, moves to your other devices.
IMPORTANT
Firescoop is an action game. It is not a flight simulator or a tool for aviation training, instruction or practice. Physics, speeds, parameters, procedures and warnings are simplified or invented to make the game work, and they contain errors. Do not use anything from the game to fly a real aircraft.
Real fires are approximate and arrive with a delay: they are not suitable for real operations.
The Firescooper is a fictional aircraft. Firescoop is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any aircraft, engine or equipment manufacturer, any aerial work company, fire service or public body, or by NASA or NIFC. Names of places, reservoirs and airfields are used only as geographic references and may not match reality.

Firescoop is now available on Mac. Fly with the keyboard or a controller, look around with the mouse and zoom with the scroll wheel. On your first flights, the instructor shows you which key to press at each moment.
