Find tonight’s best aurora window. Compare activity, weather and darkness hour by hour, follow favourite places and get local alerts when conditions align.
Aurora Signal Norway turns complex space weather and local forecasts into a clear guide for seeing the northern lights in Norway.
See what the sky is doing now, find tonight’s strongest viewing window and understand why conditions improve or fade. Activity, cloud cover, darkness, fog, precipitation, temperature and wind come together in one calm, visual experience.

HONEST BY DESIGN
The 0–100 conditions index is guidance, not a measured probability or a promise that the aurora will be visible. It combines the data available for your chosen place and time. Terrain, light pollution and aurora low on the horizon are not fully modelled.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No account is required. Saved places, followed nights and alert preferences stay on your device. There are no ads or cross-app tracking, and optional usage analytics remain off until you allow them.
