Double Dutch Derby: Jump Rope

Tap to the beat rhythm game

Free · In‑App Purchases

Two ropes, every strike is the beat. Alternate thumbs like feet, jump on time and ride the combo as the tempo climbs. Free to play; multiplayer coming soon. Thumbs are feet. Double Dutch Derby is a jump rope rhythm game you play with two thumbs. Two ropes turn, the beat ticks, and each thumb is a foot: left thumb hops the left foot, right thumb hops the right. Jump on the beat, keep the combo alive, and see how far you get as the tempo climbs. HOW IT PLAYS • Tap left, tap right, in time with the ropes, just like double dutch on the playground. • Every jump is judged on timing: Perfect scores the most, Great and Good keep your combo going. • Levels are short, about 30 seconds each, so every run has a finish line in sight. • Clear a level to earn coins and win a heart back. Then the ropes speed up. • Miss three times and the run ends. One continue per run can keep a great streak alive. WHAT YOU PLAY FOR • Beat your own best score, longest combo and highest level. • Post your best run to the worldwide leaderboard with a free account. • Spend the coins you earn on new jump rope colors, from Candy Pink to Flame Orange. • A practice mode lets you learn the rhythm with nothing on the line. FAIR BY DESIGN • No pay-to-win. Rope colors are for looks and never change your score. • One optional purchase removes ads. No subscriptions. • Play as a guest for as long as you like. An account is optional. • Players under 13 see no ads and are not asked for personal information. MADE FOR EVERYONE • One-thumb mode for one-handed play. • Beat pulse and haptics, so you can see and feel the rhythm with the sound off. • Adjustable text size, high contrast, reduced motion and screen-flash controls. • Tap-sync calibration lines the beat up with your device. Double Dutch Derby is a rhythm game for anyone who has ever counted along with a jump rope. It is free to play, with ads for players 13 and older and one optional in-app purchase.

Now on iPad, full screen. • On tablets the court keeps its full width, so both turners stay in view. • The home screen keeps its proportions on every screen size. • After a new personal best, the game may ask once per version for a rating. You can skip it.
