Cents is a personal finance tracker that runs entirely on your iPhone. No account. No server. No sign-up. Your financial records never leave your device.
LOG IN FIVE SECONDS
A keypad-first sheet that opens straight to the amount. Pick a category, tap done. Arithmetic works in the keypad, so 12+8.50 is a perfectly good amount to type.
EVERY WALLET, EVERY CURRENCY
Cash, bank accounts, savings — each with its own currency. Transfers move money between them without polluting your income and expense totals. Exchange rates update automatically, or you can enter them by hand and switch the updates off entirely.
BUDGETS THAT MATCH REAL LIFE
Weekly, monthly, or a custom period starting on the day you actually get paid. Scope a budget to a category, a tag, or a single wallet. Roll the remainder forward, or don't. See your pace through the period, not just the total.
DEBTS, LOANS AND CERTIFICATES
Amortising loans with a full payment schedule and the principal-and-interest split on every payment. Record extra payments and watch the remaining schedule regenerate. The payoff simulator shows what paying a little more each month would actually save you.
INSIGHTS THAT SAY SOMETHING
Where the money went, how this month compares with the last, which categories are creeping up, what your net worth has done over a year. Charts are readable with VoiceOver, and colour is never the only signal.
RECURRING, HANDLED
Rent on the 1st, salary on the 25th, a subscription every 14 days. Cents posts them when they fall due and can remind you the day before — with local notifications that never touch a server and need no push token.
YOUR DATA, IN YOUR FILES
Export every transaction to CSV. Take a full backup and restore it on another device. Nothing is locked in, and nothing needs the developer's permission to leave.
PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION
• No analytics. No trackers. No advertising identifier.
• Face ID app lock, with your figures hidden in the app switcher.
• Exactly one outbound request exists in the whole app: today's exchange rates, containing a currency code and nothing else. Turn it off and the app still works.
• The App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected", because that is accurate.
FREE, AND FREE MEANS FREE
Every feature is included. There is no premium tier, no paywall and no trial. Donations exist, unlock nothing, and half of every one goes to elementary education in Egypt.
