For a video the soundtrack is cleaned and the picture is passed through untouched — no re-encode, no quality loss, no watermark. • Three engines, chosen per file. Tuno Studio is the deepest, Tuno Lite is fast and battery-friendly, Tuno Deep sits between them. Switch per recording, not once in Settings. • Hear it before you keep it. Flip between Original and Cleaned, and move the strength dial to blend the two — the model never re-runs, so it answers instantly. • A strength suggestion for each file, so a quiet recording is not over-processed into something thin. • A cleaning report for every file: how far the noise floor dropped, in dB, and how much of the recording was actually speech. • Record inside the app. Audio, or video in HD and 4K at 30 or 60 fps, with pause and resume, pinch to zoom, tap to focus, and a hold for AE/AF lock. A take survives the app being killed mid-recording. • Export to the format you need — M4A, WAV, AIFF, CAF, MP3, FLAC, Apple Lossless, Opus, OGG, MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI — with the codec, bitrate, channels and sample rate under your control. • Everything you save lands in a Tuno folder you can open in the Files app, and share anywhere from there. • Seven languages: English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian. WHY ON-DEVICE MATTERS The recording worth rescuing is usually the one you cannot make again — the interview in a café, the lecture two rows from an air conditioner, the speech at a wedding. The tools that fix it are either desktop software with a mixing-desk learning curve, or a website you upload to. Uploading means handing a private conversation to someone else's server, waiting in a queue, and taking it on trust that the file is deleted afterwards. Tuno does the work on your phone instead. Your recordings never leave it, there is nothing to sign up for, and it all still works on a plane, on a train, or with the network off. On music or room tone they treat a good deal of what you would want to keep as noise, so reach for the strength dial rather than running at full — and the app tells you when a recording has very little speech in it.
