Work out what a US car really costs to land in Europe — before you buy. USAutoMotoImport estimates the full landed cost of bringing a vehicle from the United States into a European country: shipping, customs duty, VAT and the national registration tax, in one calculation. WHAT IT CALCULATES • Customs duty by tariff heading (cars, vans, motorcycles, trailers), including the collector's-vehicle treatment for vehicles over 30 years old when they qualify • Import VAT at the rate of the country of registration • The national registration tax, with each country's own rules: ISV in Portugal, malus in France, BPM in the Netherlands, akcyza in Poland, IEDMT in Spain, and the equivalents in Germany, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden and Greece • Shipping, terminal and clearance costs • A country-by-country comparison across eleven destinations, so you can see where the same car is cheapest to register HOW IT WORKS 1. WHO IT IS FOR Private buyers looking at an American classic or a modern US-spec car, and professionals who want a quick estimate before bidding at auction. WHAT IT IS NOT This app is a calculator, not an import service. It does not ship, clear or register vehicles, and it does not sell cars. Every figure is an estimate based on published tax rules; the amount finally due is set by the customs and tax authorities of the country of import. Where a country publishes no scale at all — a Greek historic vehicle, for instance — the app says so instead of showing a figure it cannot stand behind. Available in nine languages. The year field now comes first, and the Calculate button tells you when it is missing. If you don't know the purchase price yet, the results now show which costs are already exact and what will be added once you enter it. The App Store listing is now available in nine languages.
