Octo Tend is a calm habit tracker built around one idea: forgiveness over shame.
All your habits live in a single octopus. Show up and it brightens; miss a day and it simply waits. It never dies, it never scolds, and there is no streak to lose, just a steady picture of how consistent you have been lately.
How it works
• Build habits every day or a few times a week
• Track time habits like "read for 20 minutes" with a built-in timer
• Quit habits too: quiet days count as success, and a slip is just a moment
• Take rest days on purpose; they don't count against you
• Pause a habit when life gets busy, without breaking its history
• Start from ready-made templates or create your own, and sort habits into groups
See your progress
• Heatmaps and patterns that show when you show up
• Short written reflections at the end of each week
• Gentle reminders: one quiet nudge a day, or one per habit
Home-screen widgets
Log habits right from your home screen: your octopus, today's progress, tap-to-log rings and a three-week heatmap.
