Your exploration now comes to Apple Watch, with distance and streaks on your watch face. • Apple Watch: view distance, newly explored area and streaks synced from iPhone. Add distance or streak complications to your watch face. Requires watchOS 10 or later and a paired iPhone; route recording stays on iPhone. Explore FogAway on iPad with a layout made for the larger screen. • Native iPad support: browse your log beside its detail, use a settings sidebar, and see share previews alongside their options. Layouts adapt to portrait, landscape and changing window sizes. • Clearer route overviews: routes become slimmer as you zoom out, leaving more room inside small loops and between nearby paths. Street close-ups keep their full width. • UI refinements: calendar totals are easier to read, video creation progress stays neatly sized, and notification buttons have clearer contrast in dark mode.

Bring more of your explored world into FogAway. • Import Fog of World archive folders directly, including folders in iCloud Drive, and keep finer exploration detail. • Reimport a matching original archive to recover detail while preserving its original dates. Imported coverage and new GPS tracks stay together in your map and backups. • Choose which map buttons to show in Settings. The optional Start/Pause button sits just above the bottom date-range card. • Start or pause recording with two new Shortcuts actions. Each action opens FogAway to apply the change. • Improved city and region grouping, and fixed unreadable or duplicate Home Cities entries while preserving your selections.

Keep your travels together with Trips. Revisit a whole journey, replay its route, and share it as an image or video. • Discover trips away from your home cities, or add a trip yourself. • Choose up to 30 days for a manual trip. The end-date calendar adjusts as you change the start date, and a map previews your selection. • Manage your home cities and see your trips grouped by year. • Try Veil, a translucent fog style that keeps roads and place names visible. Satellite maps now include roads and labels too. • Routes keep consistent brightness at different levels of detail. • Improved replay labels that could show high-speed rail as flights or miss some flights, across daily replay, Trips and shared videos.

FogAway now supports iPhone Duo. • Unfold your phone to explore a continuous, edge-to-edge fog map, with map tools arranged along the side. • Browse dates and view a day’s route and replay side by side in the log. • See more exploration statistics at once with a two-column layout in Me. • Fold your phone to return to the familiar compact layout. Routes also retain more detail when you zoom out, making it easier to revisit the shape of longer journeys.

FogAway now takes up much less space on your iPhone and uses less data to download. Your saved routes, places and sharing features are unchanged.

On days with a flight, replay now shows your route at the origin, follows a dashed line to the destination, then shows the route there. Share videos follow the same replay, and image cards include a small map for each city. • GPS fixes during cruise are no longer mistaken for a landing; older days are re-checked when you open them • Places are grouped by country or region, and Hong Kong and Macao no longer appear twice • Place-name history is collapsed by default for a cleaner page

Support contact details now follow your app language: WeChat for Chinese and email for other languages. Tap the contact row to copy the address or ID.

Your earlier routes remain visible when viewing long histories. • Fixed missing blue routes in Month, Year and All when a history contains more than 15,000 recorded points. • Existing imported records do not need to be imported again. Your original records, distance and explored area remain unchanged. A cleaner subscription screen, with support easier to find. • Unified the feature list and contact links with the app’s standard layout and removed the extra Share App link. • Added website, help and email links to the paywall and Settings → About, so you can contact us even without a subscription.

Keep your explored paths visible as you zoom out, with fog density that stays at your chosen level. • Thin footprints become wider on screen at distant zoom levels, while cloud patterns adjust with the map. The main map, date ranges and Time Machine use the same display rules. Your explored area and original records stay unchanged. • Fixed displaced routes and fog in Hong Kong and other affected regions. Existing records do not need to be imported again. • Added import support for FWSS exploration snapshots and compatible footprint CSV/ZIP files, alongside existing GPX and Sync ZIP support. • Imported footprints without original timestamps are filed under the import date. View them in the log, main map and Time Machine, and share a map of their coverage.

Fixed routes and fog falling out of sync when zooming, coarse fog blocks at higher zoom levels, and a gray tint over explored areas. • The screen stays awake during imports to help long imports finish. • New GPX imports without timestamps no longer create future dates or invented travel distances. Exploration footprints take less storage, and missing city names can continue to fill in. • Import Sync ZIP exploration archives directly. • Hide map controls with one tap and keep your preference. Setting fog density to zero now makes the fog fully transparent. The import fixes apply to new imports. Dates in previously imported data are not changed automatically.

Route sharing images now generate faster, with less waiting the first time and when sharing the same route again. Zooming and panning are smoother when viewing all your tracks. We also fixed edge flickering while dragging the map. Map zooming is smoother. We fixed an issue that could briefly expose the base map or cause flickering at the edges of the screen during rapid zooming, and improved the transition when you lift your fingers. Give your route videos a personal touch with a blue dot or one of 12 built-in characters. Your choice is saved on your device for the next time you share. Changing the character generates a new video, and the preview and exported video use the same character. Your original route and recorded data stay unchanged.

Clarifies the automatic charge after the free trial, the renewal period and how to cancel. Fixed routes and fog sometimes staying in place when zooming or moving the map after switching date ranges. Improves paywall price loading and avoids repeated waits. Restore Purchases now gives clearer guidance for account, connection and App Store service issues. Adds app sharing in Settings and improves sharing from the Home Screen.
