A lesson is one idea, not a chapter. Read in plain words, then answer ten questions drawn from what you have just read. Every answer comes back with the reason it is the answer, and the ones you get wrong come round again before the lesson ends.
Camito teaches road law one short lesson at a time, then finds out whether you learned it. There are courses in nine countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Sweden, Slovenia, Austria and Switzerland. Not every state or region inside them, and the app shows which before you choose.
HOW A LESSON GOES
Read it. One rule, in plain words, and only that rule.
Answer ten questions on it. Only on what that lesson taught you. Nothing you have not been shown yet turns up in the test.
Read why, every time. Right or wrong, the answer arrives with the reason, and with the section of the law it was written from.
See it again. A question you miss comes back later in the same test with the options shuffled, so you cannot get through by remembering where the right answer was sitting. The test ends once you have answered every question in it correctly at least once.
A SCORE THAT IS ALLOWED TO SAY NO
Your score counts the first try only. Get eight of ten right and the lesson is yours. Miss three and Camito records it as needs review rather than complete, and those questions come back. Nothing you have already earned is taken away, and the unit test at the end of a unit is held to the same standard, so there is one bar to clear and not two.
WHERE THE QUESTIONS COME FROM
We write questions from local traffic law and sign standards. For driving techniques that applicable law leaves unstated, we use separately cited factual guidance from government sources. We do not copy another study app or substitute another place's law. Each item keeps its source record.
If we have not written a course for a place, Camito does not offer that place a course.
WHAT IS IN IT TODAY
Car and motorcycle courses have eight Units, with six Lessons and a Unit test in each. Pass every Unit test to open a 40-question Mock exam across the Course. It is untimed, with Camito's 80% study target; real test formats vary. There is a course map showing what is where, a progress record built from first try answers, and Practice draws mixed sets without changing Lesson statistics.
WHAT IT COSTS
After onboarding, you can subscribe or return after 24 hours to explore the free part of Camito. The first lesson in each course is free then; premium lessons and practice actions show a subscription screen when needed.
An active subscription opens every course and premium practice. The weekly plan includes a three-day free trial for eligible Apple Accounts. Annual subscriptions are also available where shown. Your local price, billing period and renewal terms appear before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple Account settings. After purchase, create an account or sign in to use your subscription and keep progress across devices.
TEST PREPARATION, AND NOTHING ELSE
Camito is test preparation for the written knowledge test an authority gives before it issues a learner permit or a licence. Instruction is delivered online, on your phone. Camito has no part in setting, giving or marking that test, and nothing you do here counts for anything with the authority that does.
We publish no pass rate, because we have not run long enough to have one of our own and we will not borrow anybody else's. We offer no money-back pass guarantee.
