Ggumigi – Home Screen Cat

A kitten on your Home Screen

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Give one spot on your Home Screen to a cat. A stretch in the morning, the window on rainy days, a warm sleep at night. A widget that changes with the time and weather. Room for one small cat on your Home Screen? She stretches in the morning, watches the street from the window at noon, and falls asleep at night holding her plush bunny. On rainy days she follows the drops down the glass, and when your battery runs low she flops down with you. Ggumigi is a widget app for iPhone and iPad. The cat changes with the time, the weather and your battery, so the screen you open most often has someone waiting on it. Small and sweet, large and warm From a small widget filled with her face to the wide iPad widget that opens like a single painting, each size has its own composition. The larger sizes can show the date, the weather and your battery beside her. Three cats, one for today A gray tabby, a Persian and a Munchkin. Swipe on the first screen to choose who lives with you. Some scenes take turns through the day: hiding in a cardboard box, napping belly-up, kneading a blanket. Each widget can show a different cat and a different scene. In pixels, in ink, under maple leaves Redraw the same cat as pixel art or line art. A Maltese and a Shiba come to visit, and in autumn the window fills with maple leaves. Download only the themes you like. Add a photo of your own pet and it becomes the friend in your widget. The photo never leaves your device. A spot on the Lock Screen too On the Lock Screen, a small silhouette shows what your friend is up to. Keep the look you like Watch her day change with the clock, or pin the scene you want to keep. Preview every scene and widget size in the app, and choose whether she reacts to the weather and the battery, and whether she greets you. When you can't walk past, tap the heart Tap the heart to pet her, and the fish to give her a treat. She reacts for a moment, and the app keeps count. Give her a name and the widget also counts the days you have spent together. No sign-up, no ads Open the app and start. Location is optional and only used for the weather; without it she still follows the time of day. Available in English and Korean, with VoiceOver and larger text sizes. From today, this spot belongs to a cat. Notes Weather data is provided by Apple Weather. Weather, battery and the matching scenes update when the app runs or when iOS refreshes the widget.
