Ghorobi

Sunset-to-sunset day planner

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Plan your day in temporal hours, from sunset to sunset, on a dial that follows the sun where you are — with the five daily prayers if you want them. Ghorobi is a day planner built on the classical day: it begins at sunset, and it divides daylight and night into twelve temporal hours each, measured from your own sunrise and sunset. Instead of a clock that ignores the sky, Ghorobi shows your day on a single dial that follows the sun where you are. In summer the daylight hours stretch; in winter they shorten. Your plan moves with them. THE DIAL • Twelve hours of daylight and twelve of night, computed from your location • Sunrise, sunset and the current hour at a glance • A sky that changes colour with the time of day PLAN BY THE HOUR • Add tasks and reminders to the hour they belong to • A day agenda groups everything under the hour it falls in • Daily and weekly repeats PRAYERS • Optionally mark the five daily prayers on the dial • Choose your calculation method and Asr madhhab • Prayer reminders are free, always GHOROBI PRO • Sync your plan across your devices • Task notifications when a reminder is due • Sun alerts for sunrise, sunset and other moments of the day • Custom repeats: every few days, or several days of the week Ghorobi Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. PRIVACY Your location is used on your device only, to compute your hours. Ghorobi has no ads.
