Film your swing, trim it to the strike and turn the round into a reel — free, no account, nothing uploaded. Golf Star turns the swings you film on the course into a reel worth watching. FILM OR IMPORT Record a swing in the app, or bring in clips you already have. Every clip is trimmed to the swing itself, so you start from the strike rather than a minute of waiting. MAKE A REEL One tap turns a day's clips into a reel with a dated opening card and a music track. Rearrange the clips, trim them, slow the swing down, or hold a frame at the top of the backswing. DRESS IT UP - Opening and closing cards, with your own words and a choice of fonts - Five looks for the whole reel and thirteen ways one clip runs into the next - A scorecard on the video, in nineteen designs, with your scores on it - A shot tracer drawn along the ball's flight, and a target pin where you were aiming - Music from a library of tracks, at the volume you choose EXPORT The finished reel is saved to your camera roll in a Golf Star album, ready for anywhere you want to put it. KEEP YOUR ROUNDS Score a round hole by hole or fill in the card afterwards, with putts, pars and stroke indexes. Your rounds, your scoring average and your best holes are all there in Stats. Photograph a club's scorecard and its printed pars, stroke indexes and yardages fill themselves in. FIND A COURSE Search for courses near you, or by name. The list is built into the app from OpenStreetMap, so it works without waiting on a server. Tap a course for its card, its phone number and the rounds you have played there. NO ACCOUNT, NOTHING UPLOADED There is no sign-up and no subscription. Your clips, scorecards and photographs stay on your iPhone. Anonymous usage statistics are only collected if you say yes, and you can change your mind in Settings. Golf Star is free, with no watermark on what you export.
