LidarLab uses the LiDAR scanner on iPhone Pro to measure what is actually there, rather than guessing from a photo. Measuring is free. Floor plans and quotes are normally part of the paid plans, and for a limited time they are free too.
REALTORS AND LANDLORDS
Walk a home room by room and get a labeled 2D floor plan with room sizes in feet and inches, total square footage (and square meters), doors and windows, color-coded by room type. Export it as a PDF or PNG for the listing or the rental file. For a limited time, every floor plan is free and full quality, no card needed.
MOVING AND STORAGE
Scan the rooms and get the volume in cubic feet and cubic meters, with the share of the space the sensor actually saw, so you know when a number is solid and when to rescan. Use it to estimate a move, size a storage unit or check what fits in the garage.
REMODELING AND CONTRACTOR QUOTES
Get room dimensions, ceiling heights and square footage for flooring, paint or a remodel, then turn a volume report into a one-page PDF quote on site. On Business, quotes carry your logo, company details and terms, and floor plans export as DXF drawings for CAD.
FURNITURE FIT
Measure a nook, a doorway or a ceiling before you buy. Object mode walks you around a single item and builds a 3D model of it, so you can check the couch against the space it is going into.
DIY
Distances, room dimensions and ceiling height are free for as long as you use the app. Scan as much as you like.

PLANS
Free, forever: unlimited scans, object scans, distances, room dimensions, ceiling height, PLY and OBJ export, 3D viewing, and opening or re-sharing anything you have made.
Pro adds unlimited floor plans after your 3 free ones, 5 volume reports and PDF quotes a month, CSV export of volume reports, and color floor plans with true color in 3D, painted from the photos taken while you scanned.
Business includes everything in Pro, plus unlimited volume reports and quotes, your logo and company details on quotes, a room schedule CSV with room sizes and desk and chair counts, DXF floor plans for CAD, and a plan editor to draw missed rooms, doors and windows and correct room sizes.
Pro and Business are monthly or yearly subscriptions, priced in your local currency on the purchase screen. There is no free trial, and for now you do not need one: every paid feature is free for a limited time. If you stop subscribing, everything you already made stays on your phone, readable and exportable.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No account. No sign-up. No tracking. LidarLab works offline and talks to the network only when you buy or restore a subscription, or when you choose to send feedback. Your scans stay on your iPhone, in Files.
HONEST NUMBERS
Range falls off past about 16 feet, bright sunlight washes out the sensor and glass returns nothing useful. The app tells you when coverage is too low to trust a number. These are estimates for quoting and planning, not survey-grade measurements.
Requires an iPhone with a LiDAR scanner: iPhone 12 Pro or later Pro models only.
