Slingdesk puts a slingshot on your Mac.
Pull back a wad of paper or a basketball, release, and try to land it. The target is either a wastebasket or a hoop — one at a time, both movable. After a hit the target can jump somewhere else and swap type.
The app lives in the menu bar. There is no Dock icon and no main window. Drag the wood to move the sling, drag the target, keep score.
HOW YOU USE IT
• Click the menu bar icon to open Slingdesk
• Turn “On the desk” on so the sling and target appear
• Drag the sling by the wood, pull the wad or ball, release
• Hit the opening of the bin from above, or the hoop from the front
• Outer walls bounce; the opening does not
• After a hit, the target can jump if that switch is on
YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR MAC
No account. No subscription. No server. No tracking. Slingdesk has no network entitlement — it cannot send anything anywhere. The score and window positions live in local preferences inside the app’s container.
