Lantern Circles is a social network for the people who do the caring: parents, teachers and caregivers of children and adults with special needs. Everyone here uses their real name, and everyone here gets it. Ask the question you can't ask anywhere else. Share the small win nobody else would understand. Find the people who have already been where you are. WHAT'S INSIDE Feed. One stream of posts from the whole community, or Today, a calmer look at what happened while you were busy. Circles. Smaller rooms for the part of the road you're on, like Newly diagnosed, ADHD, Autism ages 5 to 9, and Down syndrome adults. Can't find yours? Start one. Toolkit. Resources, recipes and how-tos that other caregivers have tried for real. Save the ones you need and keep your own shelf. Messages. Talk one to one. Send photos, videos and PDFs, react to a message, and fix a typo after you send. Events and Passed on. Share what's coming up, and pass along equipment and supplies your family has outgrown. Calm. Regulation audio for them, and for the drive home. It keeps playing when your screen is off. SAFE BY DESIGN Cover a face in any photo before you post it. The covered spot is destroyed on our server, and the original is never kept. Report any post or member, and block anyone. A person reads every report. No ads. No tracking. We never sell your data. Delete your account from the You tab at any time, and everything goes with it. MADE FOR EVERYONE Bigger text, high contrast, a simplified view, read aloud, a picture and a word on every tab, and reduced motion. Lantern is built so a grandparent and a teenager can both find their way around without help. Lantern Circles is for adults 18 and over.
