How fast can you copy? Start at a comfortable WPM and work your way up. Practise characters, groups, words or callsigns.
Build your CW copying speed and challenge yourself to reach a new peak. Correct answers raise the pace and missed answers lower it according to your settings. CW Summit turns each timed practice run into a mountain profile, so you can see your progress in words per minute (WPM).
Practise single characters, character groups, words or callsigns. Use the keyboard to enter what you copy, or key your answer with the on-screen paddle or your own paddle connected through an OpenShack Box.
Set the starting WPM, run length and speed changes. Use extra space between characters (Farnsworth spacing) when you need more time to recognise what you hear. The A-Z option keeps character and group practice on one mobile keyboard layout; Mixed includes numbers and punctuation.
Watch your current run against the trace of your personal best. Afterwards, review your peak WPM, accuracy and the characters you missed.
Compare with other operators on the OpenShack leaderboards if you choose to publish under your callsign. A-Z and Mixed have separate character categories. Publish individual scores, ask after each run, or explicitly enable automatic publishing.
Practice works offline without an OpenShack account. Internet access is needed for online scores, Network Box connections and website links. Settings and personal bests are saved on your device.
Use your own paddle with an optional OpenShack Box, sold separately. Connect through Bluetooth LE or Wi-Fi and the internet (Network Box). Compatible firmware is required. USB serial connections are not supported on iOS.
