Turn Yatzy into a roguelike: forge your dice, build your strategy, and climb from round to round until you reach the impossible. Each round, the same choice: five dice, thirteen categories, and a decision to make. Where will you place your roll? But in Yatzatro, filling the score sheet isn’t the end of the game. That’s where the climb begins. THE CLIMB A run is made up of rounds, each requiring a higher score than the last. And some rounds turn the rules upside down. Complete a Full House with a specific type of die. Chain Yatzys together. Reach a target using unexpected dice. Every round presents you with a new challenge. Fail, and the run ends. Succeed, and you keep climbing. FORGE YOUR DICE Between rounds, the shop and forge let you upgrade and expand your collection. Dice come in four rarities — Common, Rare, Mythic, and Legendary — and can have traits capable of completely changing the usual rules. Dice that grow stronger as the run progresses. Dice that explode to grant a bonus. Dice locked to a single face. Dice that fidget and refuse to stay still. And many more. Every die you forge influences the way you play and can transform your future scores. BUILD AROUND A THEME Build your collection around a theme and unlock bonuses that go beyond simply increasing your score. Collect a complete rarity set. Line up a pattern of pips. Build your strategy around a particular trait. Yatzys remain the pinnacle of a turn. But pulling off a second one in a row can change everything. YOUR TURN Every run can be generated from a random seed or shared with others. Same seed, same dice, same shops: replay a run exactly as it happened, compare your strategies, and see how far you can climb. Trophies reward every aspect of your progress, from your highest single-turn score to the distance you’ve climbed. And the leaderboard keeps track of your best performances. Roll smart. Forge better.
