HUNDTEC POS turns an iPad, iPhone or tablet into the ordering system of a café or restaurant. The same app runs as a self-service kiosk for guests, a till for staff and a kitchen screen for the cooks — the role is chosen once on each device.
KIOSK — guests order by themselves
• Big, photo-led menu with categories, extras and dine-in / take-away pricing
• "What are you hungry for?" — guests can hold a button and simply say what they want
• Suggestions from the restaurant's own sales: most ordered, easy on the wallet, what is rising
• Seven languages out of the box, day and night look, the restaurant's own colour
• Order number on screen and on the receipt; pay at the counter or on a card terminal
TILL — staff take orders and payments
• Staff sign in with a PIN; clock in and out
• Tables and floor plan, held orders, split and part payments, discounts with manager approval
• Cash drawer, receipts, X and Z reports, refunds
• Online orders from the restaurant's website land on the same till
KITCHEN SCREEN
• Tickets appear the moment an order is placed, colour-coded by waiting time
• Bump when done; nothing gets lost when the connection drops
BUILT FOR THE COUNTER
• Works offline — the menu and unsent orders stay on the device and sync when the connection returns
• Menu, staff, devices and reports are managed in the web back office; changes reach every device within a minute
• Updates arrive automatically
HUNDTEC POS is used with a restaurant account and a pairing code from the back office. There is no public sign-up — contact us at hundtec.com or info@hundtec.com to set up your café.
