Clearer in dark mode. • The app's teal is brighter in dark mode, so buttons and codes stand out better. • The Safari extension's buttons are easier to read in dark mode. • The main button on iPhone and iPad now uses the app's colour instead of blue.

Side by side on large screens. • On iPad, Mac and an unfolded iPhone, the original and the masked text appear next to each other while you review. • The AI's answer is shown with codes on the left and with the real details on the right. • The panes scroll together, so both always show the same passage. • The "Side by side" button switches back to a single pane.

The Safari extension now also works in Grok, Perplexity, Copilot, Le Chat and DeepSeek. • Click a word in the document to mask it – click again to unmask it everywhere in the document. • Pick another AI chat after the first – the masked text is copied again, so you can ask several in a row. • If you attach a file in the chat, the extension warns you – files are masked in the app. • On iPhone, drag the panel with the real details down to close it. • Sending directly from the app: newer models, and Grok, Mistral and DeepSeek as new choices. • Better recognition of names in Finnish text.

New Safari extension: mask right inside ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini in Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac. • The Mask button replaces names, numbers and addresses with codes before you send. • Text you paste is masked right away – even when the chat turns it into an attachment. • Show real details: read the AI's answer with the real details. Only you see them; the website never does. • Undo a masking with one tap. • Turn the extension on in Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions (Mac: Safari › Settings › Extensions). Also: Automatic is now its own choice under Rules, and answers where the AI turned the codes into italics are restored.

You can now close the app while you're in the AI chat. The key that turns the codes back into names is stored encrypted on your device, so you can paste the answer when you open the app again. • Choose how long the key is kept: 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or until you delete it. • See and delete saved keys, or clear everything with one tap. • The Recent list is encrypted and can be turned off. • If an answer fits several documents, the app asks which one it belongs to.

SendMasked now recognizes secrets in technical text and masks them before you send it to an AI: private keys, passwords in database URLs, Azure and Google Cloud keys, and keys in environment variables, config files and links. Dates of birth are always masked, even when other dates are kept.

Fixes an issue where some suggested details, such as property references, could stay unmasked even in strict mode. Everything the app finds is now masked, and you can still unmask anything with one tap.
