Your holiday has a forecast. Now it has a rival. Pick your host, compare home and away, and send a little sunshine (or smugness) to the group chat.
You booked the flights. You packed the sunglasses. Surely you’ve beaten the weather back home?
Let’s find out.
Home vs Away by Holiday Extras turns your forecast into a friendly rivalry. Compare home and holiday weather, pick a host with opinions, and discover who’s earned the right to be absolutely unbearable in the group chat.
TWO PLACES. ONE WEATHER SHOWDOWN.
Sunshine in Mallorca? Rain back home? Lovely.
Glorious weather at home while your holiday gets soaked? Awkward.
See both places side by side, with temperatures, conditions and local times. And because hotter isn’t always better, the winner isn’t simply whoever has the biggest number.
PICK YOUR HOST. SET THE MOOD.
Five presenters. Five very different attitudes.
Keep it polite with Elizabeth. Go cheeky with Arthur. Add some sass with Zara. Let Viv get savage. Or choose Liam Mode for adults-only commentary with strong language.
Same weather. Very different delivery.
SHARE. OR BRAG. SAME THING.
Turn your weather showdown into a shareable card and send it to friends.
A little sunshine for the family chat.
A little jealousy for everyone still at work.
ACTUAL FORECASTS, TOO. WE CHECKED.
Explore hourly and daily forecasts to help plan beach mornings, city adventures and the occasional tactical indoor lunch.
Check the rain, temperature, wind and UV before committing to those very optimistic sandals.
MAKE YOUR CALL.
Think home will win? Back your holiday? Calling it too close?
Lock in your weather prediction, come back for the result and collect trophies for getting it right. Bragging rights are earned. Being gracious about them is optional.
THE RIVALRY COMES HOME.
Add Home vs Away widgets to your Home Screen or Lock Screen and keep an eye on both places without opening the app.
Your holiday weather. Now quietly showing off between your other apps.
MORE TRIP. MORE PERSONALITY.
Start with home and away. Add dates, flights, where you’re staying and what you’re up to as your plans come together.
Give your host something to work with. “A relaxing beach break” and “a stag weekend” deserve very different commentary.
Keep your getaways together, switch between trips and connect your trip with Holiday Extras when you’re ready.
Home vs Away.
The forecast is useful. The commentary is unnecessary.
That’s the point.
Optional Liam Mode contains strong language and is intended for adults. Weather information requires an internet connection. Forecast availability varies by location and date; longer-range seasonal averages are labelled separately from forecasts.
