Two new weapons join the Armory. • DEADSTICK: a lone gunship pilot. Call it in from the Build menu and it patrols the field, closes on the nearest hull and opens fire once it’s in range, strafing to the beat of its guns before moving on to the next target. It’s also the new seventh system in the Systems Garage: level it up for longer flights and harder bolts, with new perks at levels 3, 5, 6, 9 and 10. • APEX-9 AUTONOMOUS HARVESTER: a robotic shark. For 14 seconds it stalks, lunges and bites, shoving hulls off course, its tail sweeping it through space. • HULL MARKINGS: the Deadstick flies as EOS-1 and Apex-9 as EOS-2, each with a career kill tally painted on its hull that counts up with every hull it destroys. Also in this update: • Commander setup now offers Sign in with Google alongside Sign in with Apple (both optional). • A hide-keyboard button sits above the keys whenever you’re typing, and Return now closes the keyboard. • The laser’s fire ring now opens exactly where the beam lands. • A punchier laser sound for the Deadstick’s guns.
