Drag pieces onto the grid, fill a row or a column to clear it, and keep going until nothing fits. There is no timer standing over you and no lives to run out. Six ways to play: Classic: eight by eight. Just you and the grid. Challenge: ice, stone and live bombs seed the board. Odyssey: a new climb every week. A hundred and fifty levels. Clear lines, collect gems. Expert: ten by ten, and the pieces to match. Frenzy: ninety seconds. Clears buy you more. Today's Game: seventy-five pieces, the same for everyone. Today's Game deals every player, everywhere, the same seventy-five pieces in the same order, and counts how many of them you place, so your result stands next to people who played the very same puzzle. You get two tries a day, and a new puzzle arrives at your own midnight, not at some hour picked in another time zone. Mosaics turn your games into pictures. Reach goals in Classic, Challenge, Expert and Odyssey to earn puzzle pieces; earn every piece and the hidden picture is revealed and goes on your trophy shelf. The Daily Mosaic brings a new puzzle every day, with goals across every mode and a present to pick when you finish it. Odyssey starts again every week with a new set of levels, so there is always a fresh climb to start. Forty-five themes, and they are not just colour swaps. Each one has its own palette, its own backdrop, its own tile finish and its own sound. Glass, stone, neon, chalk, soap bubble, grass. Pick one and the whole game changes texture. Brickworks speaks thirteen languages and follows your device's language: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian and Turkish. Sign in with Apple or Google if you want your progress to follow you to another device, or do not and keep everything on your iPhone or iPad. The game is entirely playable either way, offline included. If you do sign in, you can put a name on the leaderboards, and that name is one you choose rather than anything taken from your account. When you are stuck, there are tools: a hammer to take a single block off the board, a refresh for the pieces in your hand, an undo, and a rotate. They are there to get you out of a corner rather than to play for you, and Today's Game does without them on purpose, because everybody should be solving the same puzzle the same way. Brickworks shows adverts between games, and you can choose to watch one for an extra tool or to keep a game going. You can remove the adverts between games with a one-time purchase.
