「ある勇者の探索日記」は、勇者に装備を持たせてダンジョンへ送り出し、実際の時間が経つのを待って、戻ってきた冒険の記録（ログ）を読む――テキスト放置RPGです。
出撃させたら、あとは見守るだけ。画面に張り付いて操作し続ける必要はありません。
数十分後、あるいは数時間後にもう一度開くと、勇者が何と戦い、何を拾い、どこで力尽きたのかが一行ずつログに綴られています。
■特徴
・装備を集めてダンジョンをクリアを目指そう。階層が進むほど強敵が現れ、1回の遠征も長くなります
・無事に生還するとアイテムを持ち帰れますが、力尽きるとロストします
・戦闘ログを参考に、いまの装備で生還できる深さを見極めよう
・鉱石で装備を強化。同じ装備でも「刻印」（付加能力）は1本ごとに異なるため、最良の武器を厳選して育てよう
・強化・限界突破・進化の3段構えで、気に入った装備を最後まで育てられます
・モンスター104種・装備85種以上、図鑑のコンプリートを目指そう
・ダンジョンは全18種類。踏破すると次が解放されます。ダンジョンはアップデートで追加予定
